The Ranting Reviewer does not get paid or receive any revenue from manufacturers or retailers of products reviewed. I occasionally receive products that I am asked to use and see what I think. I take a look, try them out and tell you all about them.
The other day I came home to find a long box waiting for me.
Inside was the RollStore from Kitchen Innovations.
What is the RollStore? I think it is an answer to my frustrations!
Simply put, it is a decorative container where you can both store your foil/plastic wrap/wax and parchment papers and use it help dispense and cut.
The RollStore is longer than most standard rolls which allows them to easily fit. It will not hold the jumbo rolls or the really ing ones, but that allows it to easily fit into most standard kitchen cabinet drawers.
Each side opens up so you can put in your rolls. The lids are spring-loaded, so they snap back into place.
Here you can see some of the foil and plastic wrap pulled through. Time to give it a try.
As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I have a hate/hate relationship with plastic wrap. I can never get it to tear right.
The wrap pulls easily through the opening.
And you know what? It tears cleanly. No sideways tearing. No folding over. No roll coming out. You can see the nice, even cuts above.
How about with the foil?
My Take: I think Kitchen Innovations saw my post about plastic wrap and decided they could solve my problem. They did and more. I like both the look and the use of the product. It works perfectly and can be used both in the kitchen and could be good out on a picnic or grill. The RollStore is worth checking out. The great folks at Kitchen Innovations not only provided one for review, but also provided one for use as a future prize! Look for it in a future Diced! competition.
